No. Sooplaa runs in your browser at play.sooplaa.com — nothing to download and no app store involved. If you want it a tap away, open your browser's share menu and choose Add to Home Screen: Sooplaa gets its own icon and opens full-screen, just like an app. Because it's a website, everyone in the room is always on the newest version.
Not to play. Open the site, add some names, and go — no email, no password, nothing to set up. An account is only there if you want more from it: it lets you save the groups you play with, pick a game back up where you left off, and subscribe to Sooplaa Plus. You can create one whenever you feel like it, including halfway through a night.
One phone, two people minimum. Everyone plays from the same device, passing it around for each turn — no room codes and nothing for the others to install. From two it scales to 8 players free, or 50 on Plus, and the game shifts as the group grows: more votes and dares with a crowd, more conversation with two.
Players must be at least 13 years old. How far the game goes is up to you: the occasion you pick sets the starting tone, and you set the limits before the first card. Family Time and Work Crew keep flirty, physical and adult content switched off entirely, while a party between adults can go a lot further. Whatever you set, the game stays inside it — and you can pull it back or drop a topic at any point.
Yes — the game is free, with no account required. Sooplaa Plus is an optional upgrade at $3.00 USD per month, bought inside the app at play.sooplaa.com once you're signed in. It raises the player limit to 50, lifts the cap on how long a night can run, brings more customized cards, and lets you save groups and pick up previous games. Privacy is a priority for us. We don't collect personal information unless you voluntarily provide it — and if you play without an account, we never ask for any. Nothing about the night is kept: the names go into the game to run it and are gone when it ends. On every plan, what people actually say or answer around the table stays at the table — the game has no way to record it.
If you create an account, it holds your email and your subscription status so we know what you've paid for. Plus also saves your five most recent nights to your account, so you can start a new game from an old one: the player names you entered, the setup you picked — including anything you typed about the group — and which cards the group liked, disliked or skipped. A sixth night pushes out the oldest, each one is deleted 30 days after you played it, and deleting your account deletes the lot at once. For full details, check out our Privacy Policy.
